You're repeating the same talking points I've heard for 15+ years running. You are repeating wishful thinking points as if they are fact.

If what you say is true, then Microsoft and Apple would have lost market share more than a decade ago.

Unless and until a COMMERCIAL competitor can outstrip the other commercial options, they will continue to dominate the market and the Linux ecosystem will continue to consist of revolving vaporware. And the copyleft environment prevents that very thing from ever happening.
